Inspired by a photo of Auckland Centre leader, Jogyata Dallas, this poem extolls the virtues of never giving up.

Jogyata running

Divine Warrior     Mud-bespattered (never woebegone!) Stauch and steadfast, he marches on Sometimes a ‘runnin’, sometimes a’crawl Sometimes a ‘stumble and even a fall Through all adversity, struggle and pain The warrior comes back again and again And shows his quality through and through By having a smile for everyone too So it is all Eternity long When challenged with dark inconscience-wrong The warrior puts up a glorious fight That starts in dark and ends in light Divinity beckons, is proud of he In whom Heaven proclaims It’s Victory
